Help Kansas City’s homeless animals get a second chance at life

Why Help the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City?
Founded in 1912 the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City has been serving the area for over 100 years. Services include adoption, education, low cost spay/neutering and veterinary care for animals.
The Humane Society finds homes for 97% of all the pets in our No-Kill Shelter. Many of our pets were originally at KCK Animal Control and were injured or sick and in need of veterinary care. The Humane Society provides low cost spay/neuter services and veterinary care to help people care for their pets and to provide education about proper pet care.
Our Ray of Hope program saves the lives of animals at the KCK Animal Services shelter. We are the veterinary care provider for all of the animals at the city shelter. Our volunteers conduct satellite adoption events every weekend to find homes for the dogs and cats available for adoption at KCKAC.
Education and cruelty prevention is a main focus at the Humane Society. Topics include proper pet care and the importance of spaying and neutering.
All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City as we continually strive to save and improve the lives of pets throughout the Greater Kansas City community.
